Get your hands dirty and your creativity flowing in this fun, relaxed clay workshop.

In this session we’ll explore simple clay techniques while making two practical creations: handmade pinch pots and seed bombs.

Pinch pots are one of the oldest and easiest forms of pottery, made using just your hands and a lump of clay. You’ll learn the basics of shaping clay while creating small pots that can be used for plants, decorations or gifts.

We’ll also make seed bombs. Small balls of clay containing seeds that can be tossed into gardens or neglected spaces to help fill a space with plants. It’s a playful way to learn about gardening, ecology and spreading a little more green into the garden.

Perfect for kids, families and anyone who enjoys making things with their hands.

Suitable for ages 5+
