Holiday workshop/activity/meet-up

🪁 Learning Outcomes Understand basic kite principles — Learn how kites fly, what shapes/sizes work best, and how wind affects flight (simple aerodynamics & physics). Develop creativity & design skills — Design and decorate their own kite with colours, patterns, and personal ideas; express imagination through hands-on making. Build practical & fine-motor skills — Cut, assemble, tie, and construct a kite; practice measuring, folding, and problem-solving to make it flyable. Cultivate patience & focus — Follow step-by-step instructions, persist through assembly challenges, and learn that making something takes care and attention. Appreciate cultural & creative traditions — Learn about the art, history, and culture of kites (including Vietnamese kite culture, highlighted by VietJet’s support). Experience hands-on science in action — Test their creation outdoors; observe how wind conditions change and how to control or adjust the kite. Encourage curiosity & observation — Watch professional kite displays; notice different designs, colours, and flying techniques from international flyers. Strengthen family & social learning — Work together, share ideas, and enjoy a collaborative creative activity in a fun, community setting.
