Join us for a free family activity with robots, circuits, 3D printing, coding, experiments and much more! These sessions are perfect for the young creators interested in hands-on activities and STEAM learning. Each month we have a new topic and activity for you to explore with your child.


Technologies

Stage 2 (Years 3–4) – Science & Technology K–6 ST2-2DP-T: Plans and uses materials, tools and equipment to develop solutions that address specific problems. ST2-3DP-T: Defines problems, describes needs and opportunities, and generates design ideas. ST2-7DI-T: Explains how digital systems represent data and how instructions are used to control them. Stage 3 (Years 5–6) – Science & Technology K–6 ST3-2DP-T: Plans and manages digital solutions to address needs and opportunities. ST3-3DP-T: Defines and applies design processes when creating solutions ST3-7DI-T: Explains how digital systems represent and transmit data, and the importance of instructions in controlling them. ST3-8ES-S: Describes how scientific knowledge changes due to new evidence. Stage 4 (Years 7–8) – Technology Mandatory (TAS) TE4-8DP: Develops and communicates design ideas, processes and solutions using appropriate techniques. TE4-9MA: Evaluates products, systems and solutions for sustainability and innovation. TE4-10TS: Applies knowledge and skills in using digital technologies in a range of projects. TE4-1DP: Designs, produces and evaluates projects creatively using a design process. TE4-4DP: Demonstrates practical skills in producing quality solutions.
