Join us for a free NaturallyGC workshop

Experience our indigenous culture with this fun and interactive workshop. Get hands on with ochre painting, stories with fire sticks, emu feather hair decorations and the opportunity to throw a boomerang.

AGE LIMIT: Suitable for ages 5 and above

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

  • Children must be supervised at all times.
  • The event is outdoors and includes walking along bushland trails.
  • Location details are in your confirmation email.
  • We do not accept large group or vacation care bookings.

TICKET REGISTRATION

You must book a ticket for every child and supervising adult. If the required ticket types aren’t available, please do not proceed. Workshops have strict capacity limits. Children cannot be booked on adult tickets.

Holiday workshop/activity/meet-up

By the end of the Indigenous Culture Workshop, participants will be able to: Learn about Indigenous Australian culture, traditions, and practices through interactive activities. Develop an understanding of traditional art through ochre painting. Explore Indigenous storytelling and cultural traditions through fire-stick stories. Learn about the cultural significance of natural materials such as emu feathers. Develop practical skills and coordination through the boomerang-throwing activity. Build respect and appreciation for Indigenous culture and heritage through hands-on experiences.
